AGV
Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV)
AGV is a robot or vehicle used for transporting or moving materials within factories or warehouses. These vehicles move along predefined routes such as magnetic tape paths, painted line tracks, laser signals, or RFID guidance systems.
Operate along fixed, pre-programmed routes (cannot change paths autonomously)
Suitable for tasks that require high precision and consistent pathways
Commonly used in production lines or warehouses with stable, structured layouts.
AMR
Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR )
An AMR is a robot or vehicle designed for independent movement. Unlike traditional guided systems, it can navigate freely through its environment without being restricted to specific routes or fixed locations. An Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) dynamically adjusts its path based on real-time data collected from its surroundings, allowing it to immediately find alternative routes when new obstacles appear.
ROBOT
An industrial robot is an automatic machine capable of performing various tasks controlled by a programmed system. These robots are commonly used in industrial production for operations that require continuous performance over long periods, repetitive tasks, hazardous work, handling toxic chemicals, or lifting objects too heavy for humans.
Industrial robots can operate 24 hours a day with high precision, They can also be equipped with a variety of accessories depending on the nature of the job, such as grippers, spray guns, drill bits, welding torches, or other specialized tools as required.
COBOT
Collaborative Robot (Cobot)
A Cobot, or Collaborative Robot, is an automatic mechanical machine capable of performing various tasks independently. It can be controlled by programmed instructions or use intelligent systems to make decisions and respond to its environment.
Unlike traditional industrial robots that must operate in isolated areas, Cobots are designed to work safely alongside humans.
